Charitable Opportunities abound at Skylines.
Our mission is to serve our residents with the very best nursing care, in a spirit of love and compassion, and in a clean, safe home environment. Apostolic Christian Skylines is a 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization and can receive your tax-deductible donation. Here are tangible ways you can make a difference in the lives of our residents at Skylines.
The Parable of The Good Samaritan
In Luke 10:25-37, we read of Jesus when he was asked a question, “who is my neighbor?” He responded with a parable about a person who was badly injured and lying by the side of the road, left for dead. Several people passed by but avoided giving aid to this individual. A Samaritan stopped, had compassion on this wounded person, and took him to an Inn. He paid for this sick person’s care and told the Innkeeper that if it costs any more, he will pay the difference when he returns.
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.LUKE 10:35
Jesus said this Samaritan was the true “neighbor.” Then Jesus said to go and do likewise. It is our joy as Christians to respond to God’s love and mercy through our financial gifts.
The purpose of the Charity Fund is to meet the current needs of residents at Skylines. Changing governmental regulations increase our operating costs. At the same time, governmental reimbursements have drastically decreased. Your gift to Skylines is carefully used to “close the gap.” We appreciate a gift in any size. Please make a notation “Charity Fund” on your check. All contributions can be mailed to Apostolic Christian Skylines, 7023 NE Skylines Drive, Peoria, IL 61614 or dropped off at the front desk.

The Skylines Endowment Fund – Preserving the Future
The Apostolic Christian Skylines Endowment Fund is a way for generous donors to help pay for the care of Skylines residents who are truly in need both today and in the future—including long after the donor is gone. Endowment fund assets are invested conservatively and are never spent for any reason. Only the income earned by the fund is used for the care of residents whose funds are insufficient to meet their financial obligations for their care.
A gift of cash may be given. Please indicate Endowment Fund on your check. All contributions can be mailed to Apostolic Christian Skylines, 7023 NE Skylines Drive, Peoria, IL 61614 or dropped off at the front desk.
There are numerous other vehicles that can be used to contribute to the Skylines Endowment Fund, some which have significant tax advantages. Here are a few types of gifts:
- A bequest through your will
- Farm Commodities
- Retirement Plan Assets
- Real Estate
- Making Skylines the beneficiary of life insurance policies and annuities
PLEASE NOTE: Some methods require careful legal planning.
Please contact Skylines Administration for more information regarding any of the above ways to give.
